Man killed, another injured as load carrier turns turtle in Kokarnag

Kokernag, Jul 17 (KNO): A man was killed while another sustained injuries in a road accident at Nagam area of Kokarnag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday morning, officials said here.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an accident took place at Nagam area when a auto load carrier turned turtle near an agricultural canal, resulting in on spot death of one person and injuries to another.

He identified the deceased as Mohammad Hussain Mir son of Abdul Aziz Mir of Nagam, while injured was identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Naikoo son of Mohammad Akbar of Nagam Kokarnag.

The official said that injured was taken to SDH Kokarnag where he is being treated—(KNO)
