Miraculous Escape for Budgam Family After Walnut Tree Falls Over Residential House

Budgam, Jan 8 (GNS): A family of five souls had a narrow escape after a walnut tree, uprooted of prevailing weather vagaries, fell over a residential house in Zogoo Kaharian in Arizal in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports reaching GNS said that the tree fell over the house of one Mohammad Akram this afternoon when the house owner was inside with his four family members. The tree however damaged two cowsheds in proximity of the residential house.
The house owner Mohammad Akram told GNS that despite approaching the administration to fell the tree, they in return were met with indifferent approach. “It was a narrow escape for us today”, he said adding had god forbidden anything untoward taken place who would have taken the responsibility.
