Srinagar, Sept 18, KNT: A fresh round of internal debate has surfaced within the National Conference after Education Minister Sakina Itoo publicly questioned the silence of party Member of Parliament Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi on key political matters. She remarked that while former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has become the primary target of criticism, Ruhullah too has been voted to power and carries responsibilities as a parliamentarian.

Speaking at a function on Thursday, Sakina Itoo said, “Why is it that only Omar Abdullah is being criticized? Aga Ruhullah has also been entrusted by the people with a mandate. He should also be vocal on issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.”

Notably, Farooq Abdullah, without naming Ruhallauh yesterday, had said that it’s fury from the Almighty that they have been witnessing a situation like the continuous closure of NH44 while Aga Syed Ruhuallah had claimed that all efforts are being made to weaken the economy of Jammu and Kashmir.
