New Generation Steps onto the Terrifying Path of Moral Decline
Failure to Work Together for Reformation Will Yield Unfavorable Results: President Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith, Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar // Shaharbeen Times Monitoring Report: A significant portion of the new generation has embarked on a path of moral decay, disturbing the sleep of sensitive individuals and causing concern in society about moral and spiritual decline. It is imperative that we all address this grave issue and promptly fulfill our responsibilities towards reform. These statements were made by Professor Ghulam Muhammad Butt Al-Madani, President of the Ahl-e-Hadith , Jammu and Kashmir, during a religious and missionary conference held at the society’s headquarters.
He stated that when children fall into bad company, they not only deviate onto the wrong path themselves, but also become a burden for not only their parents and close relatives, but for the entire society. By imitating others and disregarding the gaze of parents, teachers, and elders, they contribute to the unpleasant atmosphere in relationships among parents and the deprivation of important opportunities for engagement, which hinders the fulfillment of their natural desires in the midst of daily activities such as eating, drinking, dressing, and playing. The desire for self-display and extraordinary exhibitionism, escalating indecency and immorality day by day, obscene literature, and explicit images are the most significant reasons why our new generation is heading towards a destructive destination. If, as a nation, we do not set aside our differences and realize this alarming situation, and if we do not make immediate efforts towards reform, the consequences will be disastrous.
Parents, educators, knowledgeable individuals, and every person associated with society, regardless of religion or nationality, must rise above social prejudices and fulfill their responsibilities to preserve moral and spiritual values and construct a bright future for this generation. He emphasized that the care for upbringing should begin from childhood, and as an Arabic poet said, “Childhood is the easiest and most beneficial time for children’s upbringing.” After this phase passes, upbringing becomes more difficult, and a flexible branch can be bent in any direction, but a thick log does not easily change its course. He stated that the Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith J&K will continue to play its role in the reformation efforts. InshaAllah.
