Says trapped ISJK militant is responsible for killing of ASI Mohd Ashraf

Srinagar, December 25:(GNS) Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar refuted news about any surrender of militant in ongoing encounter at Khush Roi Kalan area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Talking to GNS, the IGP Kashmir said that trapped militant was given ample of time to surrender, however he refused the offer. The exchange of firing is going at encounter site.
IGP further stated that the trapped militant was behind Killing of ASI Mohd Ashraf of Police Station Bijbehara and identified the militant as Faheem Bhat of ISJK who recently went active .(GNS)
