Tral Accident: After Biker, Pillion Rider Also Succumbs

Srinagar, Oct 17 (GNS): A week after the death of biker, the injured pillion rider, undergoing treatment at a hospital here, has also succumbed to his wounds on Sunday night.

The duo had sustained critical injuries after a bike (JK01R 8397) they were riding on collided with a load carrier near Naibasti in Tral area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Both the injured were evacuated to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where the biker Jasif Ahmad Beigh, 16, son of Bashir Ahmad Beigh of Lurgam Tral succumbed to wounds on October 7.

While Muneeb Muzaffar son of Muzaffar Ahmad Ganie, 18, of Lariyar Tral was undergoing treatment at the tertiary hospital since, however also succumbed to his wounds on Sunday night.

The police have already registered a case into the incident. (GNS)
