Police arrest four persons for creating ruckus in Rainawari Hospital

Srinagar, Nov 30, KNT: Police arrest four persons after a lady attendant allegedly misbehaved and manhandled Medical Superintendent and other staffers at Raniawari Hospital Srinagar.

Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a lady attendant lost her cool and allegedly ‘abused, misbehaved and assaulted’ Medical Superintendent, couple of nursing students after her patient alleged that that the vaccine she was administered developed some reaction.

“I can’t explain in words the way that lady attendant created ruckus in the hospital. She abused and manhandled Medical Superintendent Dr Abdul Rouf Bhat and whoever was wearing a white coat become her prey. She assaulted a nursing student just because she was putting on a white coat. She pushed and assaulted hospital security men. Her irresponsible behaviour and acts forced us to call the police,” Dr Bilques told KNT.

She said the lady attendant smashed even furniture and created rucks. “Her patient is alright and in fact was given advanced treatment. We fail to understand why she behaved like this,” Dr Bilques said adding that hospital authority was forced to call the police.

She said police have arrested four persons in this connection. (KNT)
