As the rainwater trickled down the streets and into the picturesque Dal Lake, people could be seen stepping outside to savor the refreshing weather. Residents, who had been enduring sweltering temperatures for the past few days, seized the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities and take leisurely strolls in the rejuvenating drizzle.

Tourists, in particular, were thrilled by the sudden change in climate. Many had arrived in Srinagar seeking refuge from the scorching heat prevalent in other parts of the country. The cool weather provided the perfect backdrop for them to explore the city’s renowned attractions, such as the Mughal gardens and the famous Shalimar Bagh.

The meteorological department predicts that the showers will continue intermittently throughout the day, ensuring the temperature remains pleasant for the residents and visitors of Srinagar.
