Relief from Severe Heat as Rain Showers Bless Srinagar After Three Days
Srinagar, June 26, 2023 βShaharbeen Times: In a much-awaited respite from scorching temperatures, Srinagar experienced a refreshing downpour today after enduring three consecutive days of intense heat. The sudden change in weather brought relief to the city’s residents and rejuvenated the surroundings.
However, nature finally answered their prayers as dark clouds gathered above the city last night. A gentle breeze filled the air, foretelling the imminent arrival of much-needed rainfall. As the clock struck midnight the heavens opened up, showering Srinagar with a moderate and steady rainfall.
The raindrops cascaded down, washing away the accumulated heat, and bringing a sense of relief to the parched land. The dusty streets and foliage received a fresh lease of life, with the rainwater breathing new vitality into the surroundings. Children could be seen running joyfully, embracing the rare opportunity to splash in puddles and cool off in the revitalizing drizzle.
