Seven Injured in North Kashmir Land Dispute Clash

Bandipora, 18 Feb : A clash between two groups in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district has resulted in seven individuals sustaining injuries. The altercation occurred in the Binlipora Aloosa area and stemmed from a land dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation.

The injured individuals were soon transported to a nearby hospital, where they received initial treatment, with an official confirming that a case had been registered in connection with the clash.

An ongoing investigation has also been initiated to determine the circumstances leading up to the altercation and to establish any legal ramifications.

Authorities are taking the incident seriously, with an official confirming that a case has been registered in connection with the clash.

Locals said that the timely action of the Police party of police post-Aloosa saved many lives.

They added that local police reached the spot on time and mounted a vigil in the village to prevent untoward incidents. (VPU)
