Anantnag, Sep 19 : A 45-year-old shepherd was killed after being attacked by a wild bear in Mathar forest area of Daksum in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday morning.
An official told , The deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Chopan, son of Ghulam Rasool Chopan, resident of Tangpaw Sagam, Kokernag.
Body is being shifted to PHC Larnoo for medico-legal formalities, they said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
