Traffic police seize vehicle for rash driving; make driver apologize

Srinagar, Oct 09: Traffic authorities in Srinagar have seized a vehicle for rash and negligent driving, said an official spokesperson Wednesday.In a video shared by the traffic officials on their official X-handle, the person is seen roughly overtaking vehicles at bumper to bumper distance.Loud music is seen playing in the car, as the driver continues to illegally overtake cars during the night time along the Parraypora road in Srinagar. He almost hits two vehicles as he zig zags while driving at a relatively high speed.After the officials seized his car, the driver in the video is seen apologizing to the people for reckless behavior and endangering the pedestrians and other commuters.”Traffic City Srinagar Seized Vehicle Indulging In Rash And Negligent Driving, Endangering Safety Of Pedestrians And Other Motorists. Parental Guidance And Counseling Must To Avoid Such Incidents,” traffic police wrote on their official X-handle.
