Two Arrested for Cruelty and Brutal Killing of Stray Dog in Rainawari, Kashmir
Srinagar: In a shocking incident of animal cruelty, two individuals have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the brutal killing of a stray dog in Badamwari Rainawari on July 21, 2023. The FIR (First Information Report) No 29/2023 has been registered under sections 429 IPC (Indian Penal Code) and section 11 (1) of the PCA (Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) Act at the Rainawari Police Station.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Gulzar Ahmad Beigh, a resident of Rehmaniya colony in Lal Bazar, and Adnan Shah from Hawal Badamwari.
Authorities are taking the incident seriously and are investigating the matter further to ensure justice for the innocent animal. Animal rights activists and concerned citizens are urging for strict punishment for those involved in such heinous acts of animal cruelty.
