Unidentified Male Body Recovered from NHPC Dam in Boniyar Baramulla
Uri (Baramulla), Oct 19 (GNS): Body of an unidentified boy was recovered from NHPC Dam Boniyar in Baramulla district on Tuesday evening, official sources said.
They said that the body was spotted floating over the waters by the locals, whereupon police were informed. βA police team reached the spot and retrieved the body from the damβ, they told GNS.
Meanwhile a police official confirming the retrieval of the body from the dam told GNS that βIt (body) seems to be of a young boyβ, adding there are no injury marks anywhere on the body.
The body is being shifted to Baramulla mortuary, the official further said. (GNS)
