Srinagar 06 October 2023: (Sheikh Imtiyaz) Srinagar Police has taken stern action against SMC corporator Aqib Ahmed Renzu, son of Bilal Ahmed Renzu, by booking him under the Public Safety Act (PSA). He has been confined to Kot Balwal jail in Jammu.

Aqib Ahmed Renzu faced a total of 7 FIRs against him in various police stations across Srinagar. These cases span a range of offenses, including rioting, assault, blackmail, sexual harassment, and outraging modesty.
