Vidhi Kumar Birdi Appointed IG CRPF
Srinagar, Dec 7 (GNS): Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on Wednesday appointed Vidhi Kumar Birdi (IPS) as IG, CRPF.
According to an order by Joint Secretary (police-II), Anant Kishore Saran, Birdi (IPS, AGMUT:2003), DIG, NIA has been posted IG, CRPF in Level-14 of the pay matrix against the existing vacancy from the date of joining the post.
“The officer counts his central deputation tenure w.e.f. 31.01.2020 and his tenure is extendable under the provisions of para 5.1 (ii) of IPS Tenure Policy”.
The MHA has also requested NIA to relieve Birdi (IPS) immediately for taking up his new assignment. (GNS)
