Water supply from WTP Nishat to remain affected on…..

Srinagar, Oct 28: The Executive Engineer Water Works Division Srinagar Monday announced that due to repair works on pumping units at Dalbund Nishat, the water supply from the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Nishat will remain affected from October 30 (afternoon) to October 31 (afternoon).The affected areas include Nishat, Brein, Kralsangri, Gupkar, Nehru Park, Mir Behri Dal, Buchwara, Dalgate, Konakhan, Khayam, Bishembar Nagar, Indra Nagar, Shivpora, Sonwar, Batwara, Lal Chowk, Poloview, M.A. Road, Residency Road, Court Road, Rajbagh (Partly), Maisuma, Gowkadal, Barbarshah, Koker Bazar, Basant Bagh, Habba Kadal, Fateh Kadal, Balgarden, Karan Nagar, Suthra Shahi, Tankipora, Zaindar Mohalla, Karfali Mohalla, Nawa Bazar, Kaka Sarai, Bohri Kadal, Babademb, Nowhatta (Partly), Khawaja Bazar, Rainawari, and Miskeen Bagh.Residents are advised to store sufficient water to meet their needs during this period,” the department in a public notice said.For any complaints, or grievances regarding scarcity or shortage of water supply, the general public is requested to contact the PHE Provincial Control Room on 0194-2477207, 2452047 (landline numbers), or 9419413914, 9419413915 (WhatsApp numbers), which remains functional round the clock for the service of the general public.
