Kashmir Region:
There is no possibility of a widespread spell of rain during the next 3 days.
Day temperatures are expected to rise by 2-3°C.
However, in a few areas, short thundershowers can’t be ruled out, especially during the later part of the day/early morning.
Jammu Region:
Overnight or early morning monsoon showers are possible in Jammu plains like Jammu, Samba, Kathua, and Udhampur districts during the next 3 days. Such possibility will remain for other parts as well.
For Poonch (55%), Rajouri (45%), Kishtwar (40%), and Doda (35%) districts, the possibility of thundershowers will remain during the late afternoon /evening hours.
Future Forecast:
A major spell is possible in Jammu and Kashmir around 05 – 06 July (a 60% chance so far).
