Government and Private Schools in Kashmir Division Announce Revised Class Hours
Kashmir Division, October 31, 2023 – SHAHARBEEN TIMES: In a significant change aimed at accommodating the unique winter climate of the region, the Directorate of Education has issued an order altering the school timings for both government and recognized private schools across Kashmir Division.
Starting from November 1, 2023, the classwork timings will be as follows:
1. Schools falling within Srinagar Municipal Limits
- Commencement: 10:00 AM
- Dismissal: 3:00 PM
2. Schools falling outside Srinagar Municipal Limits and other areas of Kashmir province
- Commencement: 10:30 AM
- Dismissal: 3:30 PM
This adjustment in school timings is intended to provide students with a more comfortable and efficient learning environment during the winter months. The decision has been welcomed by parents, students, and educators alike, as it takes into consideration the climatic conditions unique to the region.
