Srinagar, Aug 22: At least 22 people were killed across the besieged Gaza strip as Israeli tanks pushed deeper into the areas of central and southern Gaza Strip, In the 319 days of Israeli onslaught on Gaza, 40,173 people have been killed, 92,857 wounded, while 11,000 people are missing, Middle East Monitor reported.This latest escalation comes hours after U.S. President Joe Biden told his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu to seal a truce deal and ceasefire in Gaza and release the Israeli hostages, Reuters quoted White House as saying.Despite months of truce talks led by foreign governments, Israel and Hamas are yet to reach a consensus.n the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahiya, an Israeli strike on a house killed 11 people, while another killed six, including a local journalist, in a house in Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, medics said.
