New Delhi, July 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced that the government will establish fast-track courts to ensure the swift and stringent punishment of those involved in examination paper leaks, reaffirming the Centre’s commitment to protecting the future of students across the country.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said the welfare and future of India’s youth remain the government’s highest priority.

“Nothing is more important than the welfare and future of our youth! We have decided to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks. Have directed the concerned authorities and officials to take all necessary steps in this regard. This continues our series of steps for safeguarding the interests of students. Those who try to harm the future of our youth will not be spared,” Modi said.

The announcement comes amid growing concerns over repeated examination paper leak incidents that have affected thousands of students and raised questions about the integrity of recruitment and entrance examinations.

The Prime Minister said he has directed the concerned authorities and officials to take all necessary steps for the establishment of fast-track courts, aimed at ensuring speedy trials and strict legal action against those responsible for compromising the examination process.

The move is part of the government’s broader efforts to strengthen the examination system and safeguard the interests of students. The Centre has already introduced legal and administrative measures to curb unfair practices in public examinations, and the latest decision is expected to further reinforce accountability.

The announcement has been welcomed by students, parents, and educators, who have repeatedly demanded stronger action against those involved in paper leak rackets. With fast-track courts in place, the government hopes to deter future offences and restore confidence in the country’s examination system.
