SRINAGAR: Higher reaches of north Kashmir, including Tulail Valley and Kabul Gali in Gurez, received fresh snowfall on Thursday, while rain was reported from most parts of the Kashmir Valley.
Several areas, including Srinagar, witnessed rainfall from late Wednesday night. The higher reaches of Gurez also received snowfall, according to reports.
The Jammu division recorded heavy rainfall at several locations over the past 24 hours, with Udhampur receiving 117.8 mm, Jammu 112.9 mm and Katra 45.2 mm.
