Farooq, Omar condoles demise of NC Provincial Jt Secretary Jammu
JAMMU MAY 22- National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah today expressed grief over the passing away of the Provincial Joint Secretary Jammu Mr Mohammed Alam and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
Mr Mohammed Alam, 44 breathed his last due to COVID here this morning.
In their separate condolence messages, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mr Omar Abdullah hailed the contribution of Mr Alam, saying the National Conference has lost a highly public spirited grass roots level leader, who worked tirelessly in seeking solution to the public issues.
They prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Provincial President Mr Devender Singh Rana also expressed shock and grief over the demise of Mr Mohammed Alam at a young age, saying the party has not only lost a dedicated leader but a seasoned politician as well who worked tirelessly in strengthening National Conference at the grass root level.
“I am deeply saddened at the untimely death of a dear young colleague”, Mr Rana said and prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
Mr Rana conveyed condolences to the bereaved family including Mrs Shama Akhtar, Corporator, Ward 71, Jammu Municipal Corporation, the younger sister of the departed leader
