Young Woman’s Body Found, Day After Going Missing In Poonch

Srinagar, May 5 (GNS): Body of a 22-year-old woman was recovered under mysterious circumstances at Neeriyan Sawjian area of Poonch on Wednesday.
A police official told GNS that the woman Farida Begum (22) wife of Mehraj-ud-Din of Gagrian in Mandi area of Poonch had gone missing yesterday and her body was recovered near a Nallah (rivulet) at Neeriyan Sawjian which is some 200-250 meters away from her home.
SHO Mandi Bashir Ahmed Kohli confirmed to GNS recovery of the body and said that inquest proceedings have been launched. (GNS)
