Magam: 27 April Shaharbeen Times: The Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Magam, in collaboration with the Government Girls Higher Secondary School Magam, organized an awareness program on the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, on April 27, 2024. The event, held under the J&K Legal Services Authority, was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Jahangir Bakshi, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Budgam, and Ms. Massrat Jabeen, Chairperson, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Magam.
Advocates Hilal Ahmed Malla and Manzoor Ahmed Mattoo, speaking at the event, emphasized the importance of providing support and services to affected children. They educated participants about legal rights and how to access legal services for neglected or violated children under existing laws.
The program was attended by the college principal, staff members of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Magam, panel lawyers, PLVs, and the general public.
