Here Is Big Update Regarding Banned JKLF Chief Yasin Malik
Srinagar, July 26, KDC: Banned Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief Yasin Malik has fallen ill and has been shifted to a hospital from Delhi’s Tihar Jail where he was on a hunger strike for past many days.
Reliable sources told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that Yasin Malik has been shifted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi this evening by authorities after he remained on hunger strike since 22 July.
Malik has stopped eating food since 22 July alleging that his case was not being investigated properly.
Sources said “Malik have refused to eat on Friday and declared an indefinite hunger strike. Initially, the jail officials met with him and tried to convince him to end his hunger strike, but he categorically refused. From 24 July, he was on intravenous fluid.
Malik, sentenced by a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Delhi this year, is serving two life sentences and varying jail terms, all running concurrently, under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Indian Penal Code (IPC). (KDC)
