CWG 2022 LIVE – Bindyarani Devi wins Silver: India’s Bindyarani Devi Sorokhaibam had a memorable debut in the Commonwealth Games as she won the silver medal in the Women’s 55 kg category by lifting a total of 202 kgs.
What has made the victory even more special is she registered her personal best as well as created a commonwealth games record in the clean and jerk event by lifting 116 kgs. With the podium finish, the 23-year old has won the country’s fourth medal in the CWG 2022
