District Hospital Budgam Sans Basic Facilities,Pregnant women Compelled to Stand in Rows Due to Lack of Benches
Budgam CNS, Mar 1: Although the District Hospital Budgam has a large influx of patients but still the hospital is lacking the basic facilities like inadequate sitting arrangement for sick patients, clean purified drinking water.
However, the worst example of the mismanagement is that the pregnant women are compelled to wait in queues instead of sitting on benches as the Gynaecology ward of the hospital lacks benches and the chairs for sitting arrangement of patients, which puts them at great risk.
A local namely Rafiq Ahmad said that in this regard, although the administration has been informed several times, they still have not paid any special attention to it. Despite dozens of problems faced by the patients , Budgam District Hospital seems to be in deep slumber.
Patients from far-flung areas said that they are having a tough time while queuing up for treatment instead of sitting on benches. (CNS)
