J&K Govt Sanctions 575 Lecturer Positions in Education Sector: Minister Sakeena Masood Itoo
Srinagar – In a significant move to tackle youth unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir, the government has approved the advertisement of 575 lecturer positions across various disciplines within the School Education Department. This announcement was made by the Minister for Health, Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Masood. Highlighting the commitment to employment generation, Minister Sakeena Itoo shared that these newly approved positions will soon be referred to the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) for recruitment, aligning with the government’s promise to create job opportunities for the region’s youth.
“Honoring Hon’ble CM Omar Abdullah’s commitment to addressing youth unemployment in J&K, I am pleased to announce the approval for 575 (+2) lecturer positions in the School Education Department,” Minister Itoo stated on X, noting that the posts will be processed by JKPSC in the coming weeks.
