Says all arrangements done for smooth conduct of elections
Srinagar, May 09:- Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vidhi Kumar Birdi on Thursday said that all killing of Basit and Moomin in Kulgam is a major success for security forces.
Inspector General of Police V.K Birdi told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll said that security forces have got significant achievement by killing TRF commanders Basit Dar and Moomin from Srinagar along with their associate.
He said that both were A category terrorists and both were involved in atrocities in Srinagar and other districts.
Both were involved in many killings and conspiracies and their will killing will help further in keeping Srinagar terror incident free, he said.
He said that all arrangements have been done for smooth conduct of the election in Kashmir.
He said that drug abuse was getting severe in J&K affecting young people of the community and in this connection GPS anklet tracking system has been explored that will help in keeping vigil on such elements.(KS)
