However, the main focus remains on wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) of being awarded a joint-silver, following her disqualification from the Women’s 57kg event. Apart from him, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar will also be in action in the women’s individual golf event. India have taken their medal tally to a total of five medals as the men’s hockey team clinched a memorable bronze while athlete Neeraj Chopra secured silver in the men’s javelin throw event.
