Congratulating Sheinbaum, Modi thanked Mexico for backing India’s counter-terrorism measures and emphasised expanding economic and technological ties.According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, the two leaders discussed increasing collaboration in the fields of semiconductors, AI, quantum computing, critical minerals, and pharmaceuticals. The prospect of enhanced cooperation in start-ups, science and technology, and near-shoring manufacturing also figured in talks.President Sheinbaum reportedly expressed strong interest in India’s strides in digital infrastructure and innovation. Both leaders agreed to intensify people-to-people and cultural exchanges and committed to furthering the shared priorities of the Global South.

A Final Stop in Croatia. Prime Minister Modi’s next and final stop is Croatia, marking the last leg of his multi-nation tour.
