Ramban, Jan 10: Two persons died after a truck loaded with iron fell into a gorge on the National Highway near Battery Chasma in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir late Thursday night.Officials told the news agency JKNS that a rescue operation was launched immediately after the accident, and the bodies were recovered on Friday morning.The identification of the deceased is being ascertained. The truck, bearing registration number JK04E-9110, was loaded with iron.Further, cognizance of the incident has been taken up, investigation on the cause of the accident started, he said. (JKNS)
