Ramban, Aug 1: In view of the prevailing heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions across Ramban district, the District Administration has ordered the closure of all Government and Private schools on Friday, August 1, 2026.
According to an order issued by the Chief Education Officer, Kistwar, Doda and Ramban, the decision has been taken in compliance with the directions of the District Administration to ensure the safety of students and staff amid the inclement weather.
Despite the closure of physical classes, all Heads of Institutions have been directed to conduct online classes through appropriate digital platforms to ensure that students’ academic activities continue without interruption.
The authorities have advised students, parents, and school staff to remain indoors and follow official advisories until weather conditions improve.
