Tragic Fire Claims Woman and Two Children’s Lives in Ramban
Ramban, Jammu: A devastating fire swept through HamerGali Panchayat Bingara in Ramban district on Wednesday, resulting in the tragic loss of a young woman, Najma Begum (25), and her two minor daughters, Iqra Banoo (2) and Assma Banoo (6). The fire also injured two individuals, including Najma’s husband, Ibrahim (35), and a 55-year-old woman, Mirja Begum, wife of Noorani.
The blaze engulfed at least five temporary huts, completely destroying the dwellers’ belongings. Promptly upon receiving the news, local residents and the police rushed to the scene to combat the flames.
Saroop Singh, the SHO of Ramsoo, confirmed the heartbreaking loss of the woman and her two young daughters, as well as the injuries sustained by two others. He reported that a case has been registered as investigations into the incident continue. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the affected families during this difficult time.
