Ramsoo, Feb 12 (KS): A devastating fire in the Ramsoo area of Jammu region claimed the lives of three sisters on Sunday night, according to official sources.
Official sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the victims were identified as Sanya Latife (9), Saika Banoo (15), and Bisma Banu (18), daughters of Abdul Latief Lone, son of Ghulam Rasool Lone of Taj Nihaal. The sisters were asleep when the fire broke out in their home, resulting in a tragic loss of lives.
Although efforts were made by the fire service department, police, and locals to extinguish the flames, the house could not be saved sources added.
A police officer confirmed to News Agency Kashmir Scroll that an investigation has been launched into the incident and a case has been registered.
Meanwhile, the entire community is mourning the loss of these young girls in this unfortunate tragedy.(KS)
