Elderly woman allegedly murdered by brother-in-law in Akhnoor J&K

Jammu,April 28,An elderly lady has been allegedly killed by her brother in law in Akhnoor area of Jammu district Saturday last night.

An official told News Agency that an elderly women namely Vaishnu Devi (65) wife of late sh . Shiv Ram Sharma resident of village Bardal Khurd has been allegedly murdered by her Brother in law.

Accused has been identified as Pooran Chand son of Amar Nath resident of village Bardal Khurd.

The woman was allegedly crushed to death by stone pelting by her brother-in-law.

Meanwhile the case has been registered wide FIR no. 72/2024 and accused has been arrested by the concerned police station while further investigation has been taken up.
