Chadoora youth drowns to death in Rajouri

Srinagar, Jul 18 (KNO): A 21-year-old youth from Chadoora area of Budgam district drowned to death in a river in Rajouri district on Monday, officials said here.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the youth, who was persuing B.Sc nursing at GMC Rajouri, drowned to death in Dharli river today.

He identified the youth as Shafat Bilal (21) son of Bilal Ahmad Mir of Hanjura village of Chadoora.

He said that the body will be handed over to the family members after completing medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have started further investigation in this regard—(KNO)
